Farmstay - we live on a small farm called a lifestyleblock near christchurch - 15 minutes from the airport. Dave is a hardworkingbuilder, Julie is a teacher.
We dont sell what we produce - but grow our own beef, lamb, pork, eggs,vegetables and honey.
The main job:
We need help to clear wood from trees which have been cut down. Then we pick upthe rubbish and burn it. We do this after our day jobs - from 4.30pm then eat alate dinner.
This is not a paid job - accommodation in a very large room independent of thehouse. It has some cooking facilities. Meals - basics supplied for breakfasts.lunch Saturday and Sunday.
Good healthy evening meals five nights.
This is a minimum of one week, maximum five weeks. could suit a couple. 3 Hourswork Monday to
Friday starting 4.30 and 4 or 5 hours Saturday and
Sunday starting 9am.
You need to enjoy animals.
Your own car would be necessary.
